Blair - 10 years later

I can't really imagine Britain with a prime minister other than Tony Blair. That would be like Australia without John Howard. For as long as I can remember, Blair has been the prime minister of Britain. I don't know a lot about him but I do remember him as the guy on BBC who makes brilliant speeches (as most politicians do but I think he's one of the best) and has a certain charisma that makes you want to listen to what he has to say even though you don't have a clue as to what politics is all about.

10 years is a long time to serve, I suppose, and you can't go on forever (Howard might beg to differ). But I would miss living at Number 10, Downing Street too if I were Blair.

Not that any of this would make a big difference to your lives, i'm sure. I'm not a political enthusiast, so on the rare occasions when I do mention politics, it's only out of slight interest.
